STORYTELLING
Douglas John loves to see the wonder in a person's eyes when he is sharing one of his creative stories or when sharing stories of others. He is most satisfied when an audience is moved by his work. To Douglas John, storytelling requires having a genuine and unique story that must be told with empathy and an acute focus on 'how' to express. Storytelling can excite, educate, motivate, or even birth a movement. Whether factual or fictional, through stories we can share new perspectives,, innovation and undoubtedly a connection.
CREATIVITY
His imagination runs on overdrive after experiencing something new or when learning of an original concept. Douglas John loves to brainstorm and cultivate ideas to full potential. To him, determining the creative approach, style and presentation are all exciting parts of the production process. A lot goes on behind the scenes to produce memorable content. To Douglas John however getting to experience the end result makes it all worth it.

Douglas John has always had a desire to know how things work. Over time, this curiosity has afforded him the capacity to manage all aspects of a production. Whether operating, directing or editing, his technical understanding and refined process allows him to produce high quality media efficiently. When the content is masterful the messages can be deeply received.

He is naturally assertive, is a great communicator, and has excellent problem solving skills. He welcomes new and difficult challenges. SYNOPSIS
At an early age, Douglas John learned that the world around him is just as broken as it is beautiful. Since then he decided to embark on a journey to understand why. Where survival meets purpose, Douglas uncovers answers through the retelling of people’s stories using visual media to bring to light the human condition that connects us all.
His desire to uncover the world's compassion with no limits presents challenges that most would resist. Armed with a camera, a computer and a smile, Douglas continues to try to make the impossible, possible. Using his talents, he is determined to impact anyone in his path, hoping to help others uncover their inherent spark and true potential, and above all else, to ultimately share the rewards that come from listening to your heart.

"I am still on my journey to inspire through storytelling. As a truth seeker, no matter where in the world when my heart speaks to me I will follow. Reaching nearly 3 decades creating video productions, I can say that I am very blessed to have worked with talented and creative individuals. Every project that I’ve collaborated on has been unique and challenging. No matter the scope, I always just dive in, relying on my instincts with others to guide me and my passion for art to drive me. By default I give my all to tell the story even if I have to be open and vulnerable."
